My Roots

Being immersed in music growing up, I was exposed to numerous different genres. My parents always had country, southern rock, classic rock, and 80’s and 90’s pop music playing. My grandad would always listen to bluegrass when I was around him, and my uncle would have heavy metal turned on. This exposure shaped my music taste. Old school traditional country is my favorite genre and musicians like Dwight Yoakam, Randy Travis, and George Strait remain as my top musicians. Modern artists, like Jon Pardi, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Midland, Mo Pitney, and Cody Johnson, are a few others that I enjoy. Although country is my favorite genre, I also love listening to southern rock, folk, Americana, and bluegrass music as well.
